Running is the simplest way to improve your health and lose your weight because you do not need any special equipment and you can do it whenever or wherever you want. We all know the benefits that running can bring and that is why many people choose running to be the daily exercise. If you are interested in running, you can start right now. And this post will help you to have a good base from the beginning.
Have a good preparation:
When you decide to join a sport, you have to know the basic rules of that sport like how to play it? What kind of equipment you need to prepare? And so on. Fortunately, running is not that difficult. You just need to get some following good stuffs with you and get ready:
- A good pair of shoes:
I’m sure this is an extremely important factor. You should not hesitantly spend your money on a high quality pair of shoes. They will give a good protection and wick the moisture away from your feet, so you can be comfortable during the training.
There are thousands of shoes on the market, if you are confused, just go to the sport shoes store and they will help you choose the most suitable shoes. However, you don’t have to push yourself to buy the shoes that are too expensive, just find the shoes you can afford and be comfortable, long- lasting.
Remember, it would be horrible if you choose the wrong shoes. You just need to get the shoes that give you great support and cushioning. When you go to buy a new pair of shoes, put them on with the socks that you use to run and walk a few rounds to make sure your feet are comfortable and lightweight.
- Prepare the running apparel:
You can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable but also protect your body. For instance, in the hot weather, you can wear the running singlet for the breathability, or the running tops with short sleeves to protect your shoulder from the sun burn. In the cold weather, a long sleeves tops would give you the warmth to start running.
Have a plan for the running and follow it seriously:
If you are the beginner, do not run for a long distance yet, you are not used to it. At first, you should take about 30 minutes to walk and run, do this exercise every day. Then after 1 week, you can increase the time, distance and the speed. This may be daunting, but it works very well, trust me.
Remember before you run, do the warm up to wake up your body, focus on the hips, ankles and knees, stretch your body.
Once you have schedule to go, stick on it. You can use a stop watch to mentor your running progress.
Between each lap of running, you should take the few minutes to rest and drink water. Do not work too hard otherwise your body would be overwhelmed.
There is no goal that can be got easily, you must be patient and most important is listening to your body.
